FACT: I used to watch this movie repeatedly when I was little.
I’m fairly certain one of my first crushes was this wolfdog. Along with Simba from the Lion King.
I LIKED HEROIC, MANLY TYPES WHO WENT ON QUESTS OF IDENTITY OKAY
I WAS FOUR DON’T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT
Of course, at that age I also loved to pretend I was a dog, so…maybe that explains it

Also isn’t it hilarious that the guy who voiced Steele is well-known for his portrayal as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Ray from Princess and the Frog?
